Dō because cookie dough heaven is a place on earth

Dō because cookie dough heaven is a place on earth

I eat my feelings. It started once I learned how to bake and realized that making cookies, brownies and cakes could somehow ease the storm and stress of adolescence. But it wasn’t just the baked goods that I looked forward to when I pulled out the mixing bowls and whisks, it was sneaking in spoonfuls of raw batter that motivated me to carefully sift and measure each ingredient. But eating raw eggs is a bad move and the satisfaction of my splurge was often followed by a grueling stomach ache.

And then the game changed when I discovered . Their ready-to-eat cookie dough comes in the expected traditional flavors (chocolate chip, sugar cookie, brownie batter) as well as binge worthy flavors such as coconut caramel delight and fluffer nutter and is completely safe to eat! And they even have options for gluten free, vegan sweet seekers (like me and @loricapon).

But of course there is a catch. Legions of cookie dough craving fans line up and wait outside Dō’s West 3rd and LaGuardia Place shop for at least an hour (even in the freezing cold) and there is no guarantee that the flavor you came for will still be available by the time you get inside. But is it worth the wait???  It took me a while to find out because I don’t do lines and instead waited for them to launch their delivery platform (FYI, it can take up to 1 - 2 months so order now or else you will be waiting until the Fall!). And while nothing is better than instant gratification, this was worth it. It's so good it tastes likes sin :)
